Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many distinct individuals, if any, have accessed Jobs and Skills Hubs since October 2023; what is the total budget expenditure, if anything, on this initiative since October 2023, listed against the original budget allocation?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development and Employment that the Jobs and Skills Hub does not count the number of people walking into the sites and attending events. I am therefore unable to provide an accurate answer to how many distinct individuals have accessed Jobs and Skills Hubs since October 2023. I am advised that since October 2023 to date (11 December 2024) the Jobs and Skills Hubs have supported 3,584 individuals with employment, training, and/or apprenticeships. I refer the Member to the attached table, which provides the actual expenditure and the Budget amount for Jobs and Skills Hub.
