57391 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: What Kāinga Ora projects, if any, have been cancelled or put under review since the outcome of the delivery pipeline review was announced in June 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kainga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it applies a rigorous review process to all project business cases to ensure value for money and deliverability. Since June 2025, 12 projects that had received Indicative Business Case endorsement have not progressed to the Detailed Business Case stage due to consenting risks, infrastructure issues, or not meeting Kainga Ora’s financial metrics. These projects are currently being reassessed, which may include further design work, to determine whether they can proceed as originally planned. For the location of these projects, I refer the Member to the attached table.
