46334 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any on 1 July 2023 broken down by job title and salary band range?

Hon Erica Stanford: I refer the Member to the attached Table One for the number of full time equivalent (FTE) Ministry of Education (the Ministry) positions, grouped by Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) type and salary band range. This data is presented as at 30 June 2023 rather than 1 July 2023 to align with other statistics published by the Ministry. As at 1 July 2023, the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) had 542 employees. I refer the Member to the attached Table Two for a breakdown of job titles and salary bands at NZQA. As at 1 July 2023, the Education Review Office had 220.7 FTE across an establishment of 256 employees. I refer the Member to the attached Table Three for the number of FTE positions, grouped by ANZSCO type and salary band range.
