Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many wards across Health New Zealand’s hospitals and services, if any, have reported more than 50% of “shifts below target” using the Care Capacity Demand Management programme in the months of July and August 2025, listed by the name of each ward?

Hon Simeon Brown: I refer the member to the attached table, which shows the wards with shifts below target levels of more than 50% over the period of July and August 2025. For comparison I have also provided data for the same two months in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Additionally, I have provided data on shifts above target to give the Member a more complete picture.
