30758 (2026). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister of Corrections: What contracts, if any, does the Department of Corrections have for translating Pacific languages, by vendor, value of the contract, and when it was signed?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections does not contract translation services by language. Instead, Corrections contracts translation and interpreting services that cover a wide range of languages which includes Pacific languages. Therefore, I refer the member to the attached table, which provides a list of contracts for Corrections’ translation and interpreting services across all languages.
