29967 (2023). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: What target, if any, does the Minister have for Immigration NZ peak call centre hold times, and when does the Minister expect Immigration NZ to achieve this target?

Hon Erica Stanford: Immigration New Zealand has an average speed to answer target of five minutes. I refer the member to the attached document and note this target has been met from May to October this year. In November, the average speed to answer was 5:41. This is due to an increase in call volumes particularly in relation to residency visas. As at 12 December, the average speed to answer is currently tracking at 4.22.
