Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that between 30 May 2024 and 22 May 2025, the Ministry of Transport established 21 permanent positions. Please refer to the attached for a breakdown by job title and number of roles. I am advised that as at 22 May 2025, 275 new employee job titles have been created at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) that did not exist at 30 May 2024, totalling 338 new positions. These are listed in the attached table.
