11466 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What collective agreement negotiations, if any, will be due to take place in the Minister's departments, if any, during the 2025 calendar year, listed by date, union, and roles affected?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) will negotiate four of its collective agreements with the PSA during 2024/25 financial year: • Service Delivery (SD) and National Office (NO) collective agreements - bargaining is currently underway. • Whaikaha / Disability Support Services collective agreement – this expired 28 February 2025 and bargaining has been initiated. • Manager and Senior Specialist collective agreement – bargaining is due to commence early May 2025 MSD will negotiate: • Work and Income Northland Staff (WINS) collective agreement - bargaining is scheduled for early April 2025. I refer the member to the attached documents, which provide lists of job titles affected by collective agreement negotiations. Please note the same job titles are affected for both the SD collective agreement, and the WINS collective agreement.
