Hon Dr Shane Reti: I refer the Member to the attached table. I am advised that data as at 31 December 2023 is the most recent available. I am further advised that Health New Zealand collects data on all positions which exist at the date of collection, and does not maintain a distinction between “new” and “existing” positions in its national Health Workforce Information Programme (HWIP) collection.
