8916 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Finance: How much, if anything, has EQC / Toka Tū Ake paid to homeowners in ex-gratia payments other than payment in the "on sold" programme in the past 12 months, broken down by month?

Hon David Seymour: I refer the Member to the attached table. These payments are made to settle potential liability, reimburse costs and fees, temporary accommodation, and various other matters that EQC pays from time to time. I am advised that this figure includes payments for temporary accommodation and reimbursement of other costs and fees related to the Crown on-sold programme that were not met by the programme.
