Camilla Belich to the Minister of Customs: What employment or engagement outcomes resulted from recorded incidences of workplace bullying in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, broken down by outcome category, if any?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) has responded to 35 complaints of bullying during the period 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2025. I refer the Member to table one of the attached appendix which provides the recorded outcomes of these 35 complaints. I am also advised that of these 35 complaints, Customs referred 10 to an external investigator during this period. I refer the Member to table two of the attached appendix which identifies when these complaints occurred and when they were referred out to an external investigator, broken down by calendar year
