82356 (2024). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Agriculture: Does the Minister believe the budgetary savings in the past year justified the scale of cuts made to critical services in his portfolio?

Hon Todd McClay: Yes. I am advised by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) that budgetary savings made in the past year have not impacted on critical services or frontline services delivered for New Zealanders.
