82324 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Health: How many full-time equivalent IT staff have been employed by Health NZ in each of the last three years?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the total of fulltime equivalent Data and Digital staff employed by Health New Zealand was: • 1,847.06 as at 30 June 2023 • 1,911.51 as at 30 June 2024 I am further advised that this data covers all functions within the Data and Digital group, and that IT professionals cannot be separated out. It covers permanent and fixed-term workers only. I am also advised that data for 2022 is not available because payroll data only began to be collected and combined from June 2023.
