82322 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: How many young adults (18–24 years), if any, are currently placed in high-security units across Corrections facilities, and what percentage are on remand?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that as at 30 November 2024, there were 591 people in high security units or higher who were under the age of 25. Of these, 63 percent were people on remand.
