82320 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: How many dedicated youth units or facilities, if any, are currently operational for young adults in Corrections custody, and what is their total capacity?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections currently has a designated youth unit in Manawatu Prison with a total capacity of 12 beds and another unit in Christchurch Men’s Prison with a total capacity of 20 beds.
