Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that the primary focus of consultation on the use of puberty blockers in young people with gender identity issues is through meeting with groups representative of those who may be directly affected. However, other people who may be affected or have an interest in decisions to be made may wish to provide their views. I am further advised that the public-facing part of the consultation allows people to provide their views through an online survey or in writing via email.
