Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised the Ministry for the Environment has 16 work stations as part of the Auckland Policy Office's shared office facility for use by Ministry staff working from the Auckland region. 42 Auckland based Ministry for the Environment staff have access to the Auckland Policy Office (APO) to use the Ministry's 16 work stations when/if required. Their roles are as follows: 4 Advisor - Policy 1 Auckland Regional Lead 1 Business Support Coordinator 1 Investment Manager 1 Lead - Legal Operations and Privacy 4 Manager 2 Principal Advisor 3 Principal Advisor - Policy 2 Programme Manager 3 Senior Advisor 1 Senior Advisor - Communications 10 Senior Advisor - Policy 1 Senior Analyst 1 Senior Compliance Officer 1 Senior Investigator 1 Senior Investment Manager 2 Senior Solicitor 3 Team Leader Please note, not all of these 42 staff will regularly use the APO work stations, as they may work from home or remotely. Other Auckland based staff, or staff from other regions also have access to the APO to use the Ministry's work stations on an ad hoc basis. This answer should be read in conjunction with Annex A which provides further information on the role and function of the Auckland Policy Office.
