82156 (2024). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Auckland: What advocacy, if any, has the Minister undertaken for the Auckland City Mission, and is the Minister aware that it has indicated it will have to significantly reduce its services if it is not given government assistance in 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: Government funding for the City Mission is a matter for the Minister for Social Development and Employment. I regularly engage with my Ministerial colleagues on a range of issues affecting Auckland through various channels, including discussions on portfolio matters at Cabinet Committees.
