82132 (2024). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister for Biosecurity: What feedback, if any, has the Minister received from Ngāti Kuta, Patukeha, Ngāti Rehua, and Ngāti Manuhiri about the impact of Caulerpa, if any, on their communities?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I have received feedback from a number of iwi, coastal communities, fishers and others on the impacts of exotic Caulerpa. I have committed $15 million of new investment into the battle against exotic caulerpa reflecting those concerns.
