82105 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Justice: What modeling, if any, has been conducted to determine the costs of transferring the Firearms Safety Authority out of the Police, by who conducted the modelling and by date?

Hon Nicole McKee: The Ministry of Justice has been working on hosting options and cost implications for transferring the Firearms Safety Authority out of the New Zealand Police since August 2024, based on available cost information from both the Authority and the Police. This is a preliminary assessment that is currently on-going.
