82050 (2024). Reuben Davidson to the Minister of Statistics: What was the total reduction in spend by StatsNZ, if any, from 01 January 2024 to 16 December 2024?

Hon Andrew Bayly: I am advised that total expenditure for Stats NZ in the year 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 was $245.321 million as reported in Stats NZ’s Annual Report. The total operating expenditure appropriation for the year 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 is $238.112 million.
