82047 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many takedown notices, if any, have been issued to online content hosts that are hosting objectionable harm between 1 October 2024 and 30 November 2024 broken down by month?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The Department is able to request information be removed via a Formal Take Down Notice and, in some instances, via an informal request to the content host. In October 2024 there were 3 formal and 7 informal requests for content removal and in November 2024 there were 2 formal and 1 informal requests for content removal.
