82038 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What engagements, if any, has Te Awhi Rito, Alan Dingley had with schools to champion the importance of reading between 1 October 2024 and 30 November 2024 broken down by month?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that between 1 October and 30 November 2024, the Te Awhi Rito NZ Reading Ambassador has participated in six engagements involving five schools, reaching at least 1,914 students. In October 2024 there were 5 engagements with 1514 students and in November 2024 there was one engagement with 400 students.
