82032 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many fulltime equivalent staff have been employed by the Department of Internal Affairs to work on developing policy for online gambling between 1 January 2024 and 30 November 2024, broken down by month?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that gambling policy development is primarily undertaken by the Gambling Team, which comprised up to eight full time employees (FTE) over 2024. The amount of FTE applied to the online gambling policy work programme is estimated to have varied between four and five FTE throughout 2024. Breaking this figure down by month is not possible, due to the way teams and work programmes are structured.
