81975 (2024). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In relation to her answer to written question 76811, other than an upcoming public consultation, what work. if any, does the Minister have underway regarding engineered stone?

Hon Brooke van Velden: MBIE has commissioned independent researchers to analyse the scientific evidence base that informed the regulatory settings adopted in Australia, as part of the broader review of recent scientific evidence relating to engineered stone. Additionally, I am committed to system-wide health and safety reform, which may help address some of the issues faced in the engineered stone sector.
