Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In relation to the Minister’s quote that partial strike changes mean an employer can “reduce an employee’s pay by a proportionate amount, calculated in accordance with a specified method that is based on identifying the work that the employee will not be performing due to the strike”, what specified method will be used and how has this method been determined?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The method is set out in clause 6 of the Bill, which inserts new section 95C. This is based on the method that was set out in the 2014 version of the legislation.
