81931 (2024). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What groups, if any, including business groups and unions, will the Minister brief in advance of the government announcement about the minimum wage rate for 2025? 

Hon Brooke van Velden: I announced the 2025 minimum wage rates on 17 December 2024. The early timing of this announcement (compared to recent minimum wage announcements) was intended to give businesses sufficient time for planning. My office sends embargoed copies of the press release to stakeholders and journalists.
