81856 (2024). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister for Biosecurity: What, if any, contracts does MPI have with CO2 suppliers?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: None. MPI is working with the commercial poultry industry to help them identify resources they will need in the event HPAI arrives. Individual poultry business owners are developing site specific plans for the relevant activities, which are helping determine resources needed to undertake operations. Industry and MPI will work together to coordinate the supply of resources between sites, depending on the situation.
