Hon Andrew Hoggard: MPI’s response to H7N6 currently has more than 200 staff across MPI involved. MPI staff are assigned to a wide range of roles supporting the response at both a national and regional level. This includes surveillance and laboratory personnel undertaking diagnostic testing, staff supporting the trade response, and operational activities on the ground.
