81784 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Has Minister asked MBIE for analysis on whether the climate-related disclosures regime should be extended to private companies that are not otherwise climate reporting entities, and if not, why not?

Hon Andrew Bayly: Extending the regime to private companies is not being considered at this time, so advice has not been provided. Should this be contemplated in the future, advice and analysis will be sought. We are consulting on reporting by multi national groups
