81782 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Who, if anyone, has the Minister had preliminary consultations with on a review of the climate related disclosure regime?

Hon Andrew Bayly: On Friday 13 December 2024, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment issued a public consultation on possible adjustments to the climate-related disclosures regime. Over the course of 2024 the Minister has spoken to a variety of different groups and individuals about their experiences with the climate-related disclosures regime. These include the NZX, Chapter Zero, the Institute of Directors, investors, various climate reporting entities, the Financial Markets Authority and the External Reporting Board.
