Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 on the recommended focus area ‘Implementation of the Ao Mai Te Rā antiracism maturity model (currently in development) across the cancer system’ under ‘System-wide solution 4: Workforce’ in the Cancer Control Agency ’Cancer Services Planning’ document?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during this quarter (April to June 2024) with the development of the Ao Mai Te Rā antiracism maturity model across the cancer system substantially complete, the Cancer Control Agency engaged with Health NZ over its implementation.
