Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 to ‘Develop a detailed cancer data and information plan’ under Outcome 1: New Zealanders have a system that delivers consistent and modern cancer care, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during this quarter (July to September 2024) following the successful proof of concept for CanShare the cancer information initiative, the Cancer Control Agency has continued to work on consolidating findings and exploring next steps towards implementation.
