Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 to ‘Formalise international research partnerships and connections’ under Outcome 1: New Zealanders have a system that delivers consistent and modern cancer care, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during this quarter (July to September 2024) the Cancer Control Agency continues to maintain strong working relationships with international agencies. During this quarter the scope of Phase 3 of the International Cancer Benchmarking Partnership workforce study has been agreed with participating countries, of which New Zealand is one.
