Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 to ‘Develop a monitoring framework for the cancer plan that includes an explicit focus on equity’ under Outcome 2: New Zealanders experience equitable cancer outcomes, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that recommendations from the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019-2029 are to be actioned across the 10-year life of the plan. Consequently, no work has been undertaken on this action in the last quarter (July to September 2024).
