81025 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has occurred to achieve the initiative 'Redesign rural unplanned care provision and review rural hospital sustainability' included on page 13 of High Level Implementation Plans - Achieving the Health Targets, as at 16 December 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the Rural Urgent Unplanned Care and Rural Hospital Sustainability projects are both near completion. I am further advised that detailed plans to progress implementation of the recommendations are being developed for approval in 2025.
