81009 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has occurred to achieve the initiative 'Commission new assets that increase bed and theatre capacity for planned care delivery' included on page 16 of High Level Implementation Plans - Achieving the Health Targets, as at 16 December 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the commissioning of Totara Haumaru has added bed, theatre, and procedure room capacity for planned care delivery in the northern region. I am further advised that the Counties Manukau Health Park build continues, and that recently the first clinics opened within the new build for cardiology services.
