81006 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has occurred to achieve the initiative 'Each district to establish patient-level action plans for long-waiters' included on page 17 of High Level Implementation Plans - Achieving the Health Targets, as at 16 December 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that each Health New Zealand region has now completed 90-day action plans to address long waiting First Specialist Appointment (FSA) and elective treatment waitlists. Regions will now translate required actions to a district level and will coordinate implementation and monitoring.
