Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What additional funding will be required for the action point 'Increase rural hospital medical specialist training and support', as contained on page 19 of the 2024 Health Workforce Plan, if any, and if additional funding is required, where will it be sourced from?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that all Health Workforce Plan initiatives will be funded out of Health New Zealand baselines.
