80882 (2024). Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: When, if ever, does the Minister expect expert panels for projects under the Fast-track approvals bill to be established by?

Hon Chris Bishop: From 7 February 2025, I will be able to receive applications for referral, and substantive applications can be lodged with the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). Once a substantive application is considered complete, the EPA will send it to a Panel Convenor who will establish an expert panel to consider the application.
