80808 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: How often are the Oranga Tamariki Military-Style Academy pilot Regional Leadership Groups and Regional Public Service Leads expected to meet?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that their representatives meet monthly with the Regional Public Service Leads as part of the Target 3 National Delivery Group for reducing child and youth offending. I am further advised that the term ‘regional leadership groups’, used in the design process of the Military-Style Academy Pilot refers to local leadership groups who are part of the youth justice system and have regular meetings with the Youth Justice National Managers. There is not a specific meeting schedule for these groups.
