Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: $1.017m was spent for the period 1 December 2023 – 15 December 2024 to maintain and operate the Premier House site. This includes costs for both Premier House and Premier Cottage, located within the grounds of Premier House, and other operational expenses for the site such as security and council rates. Details regarding the vendors have not been included due to commercial sensitivity considerations. Costs to maintain and operate Premier House are met from the Department of Internal Affairs’ non-departmental ‘Services Supporting the Executive - Official Residences Maintenance Costs’ budget. Funding in FY2024/25 is $0.707m. The costs associated with maintaining Premier House are also published in the Department’s annual reports.
