80777 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Māori Development: What is his rationale, if any, for repealing section 10(1)(d) of the Maori Purposes Fund Act 1934–35 under clause 17 of the Māori Purposes Bill?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Māori Purposes Bill repeals an obsolete power for the Māori Purposes Fund Board to agree to land vested in it being subject to a consolidation or development scheme.
