80762 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: In response to Reply 77186 (2024), of the 10,175 registrations for 10,050 available places in a Te Ahu o te reo Māori (TAOTRM) course, how many, if any, of the teachers who had registered were able to begin a TAOTRM course?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry did not require Te Ahu o te Reo Māori providers to record information on participant roles. It is important to note that the numbers provided in Reply 77186 (2024) reflect total enrolments, not specifically teacher participation.
