80755 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Transport: What was the primary reason for the delay in work commencing on the Riverlink Project?

Hon Simeon Brown: Similar to what happened with other projects, decisions made under the previous government to re-evaluate the Melling project in 2018 resulted in significant delays, not delivery. The NZ Transport Agency is working closely with Councils to finalise the design and delivery programme for Riverlink as part of our plan to get transport back on track.
