80691 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: Why did the Minister make David Seymour lead Minister for the initial baseline exercise for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment?

Hon Nicola Willis: Preparation of Budget initiatives, including those for savings, are led by the respective lead Minister responsible for each agency. Minister Seymour was appointed the lead minister for the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment because of the wide range of portfolios covered within that agency.
