80686 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: Which departments, if any, did the Minister make Minister Seymour the lead Minister for Budget 2024 baseline savings exercises?

Hon Nicola Willis: Cabinet ultimately makes all Budget decisions. Preparation of Budget initiatives, including those for savings, are led by the respective lead Minister responsible for each agency. Minister Seymour was appointed the lead minister for the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment because of the wide range of portfolios covered within that agency.
