80604 (2024). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How many visitor visa applications, if any, were processed from China or Chinese citizens for the month of November 2023?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that between 1 November 2023 and 30 November 2023, Immigration New Zealand completed 27,384 visitor visa applications for Chinese nationals. I am advised that between 1 November 2023 and 30 November 2023, Immigration New Zealand completed 10,959 visitor visa applications for applicants whose residential address is recorded as China at the time of lodgement.
