80598 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister for Rail: Is there any initial feedback on the usage of KiwiRail's interceptor?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised Interceptor is live for KiwiRail’s South Island DX locomotive fleet (47 locomotives) and has already prevented a Track Warrant overrun/Signals Passed at Danger incident since it has been in use.
