80576 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Associate Minister of Health: What steps has she taken, if any, to improve the transparency of Home and Community Support Services (HCSS), as recommended by Recommendation 17 of the Aged Care Commissioner's March 2024 report?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that a Home and Community Support Service experience survey has been developed by the Health Quality & Safety Commission. The survey covers different parts of the experience, including scheduling, communication, partnership, coordination, physical and emotional needs, and cultural safety. I am further advisd that the feedback received will help improve the quality of Home and Community Support Services across New Zealand.
